Sculpture in the Vineyards 2018

Celebrate our 16th year and Visit Wollombi for Sculpture in the Vineyards, a unique Hunter Valley art experience, 2 – 18 November. Open daily 10am-5pm.

This home grown exhibition is back for its 16th year! Now a firm fixture on the Destination NSW calendar of events, the exhibition features creative works by some of Australia’s leading sculptors, and has attracted the attention of international artists eager to exhibit in this unique location.

Begin your journey with a lavish indoor and outdoor exhibition of the intricate and the elegant in contemporary Australian sculpture.

Bring the family and relax in nature amongst the sculptures in a true Hunter Valley art experience. Enjoy a glass of wine at our cozy cellar doors before retiring for a quiet evening of starry skies and the gentle sounds of frogs and night birds calling. The boutique vineyards are all family owned – Stonehurst Cedar Creek, Undercliff Winery and Noyce Brothers Wines.

You’ll be surprised and delighted by the variety of creative approaches and unusual materials used in the artworks in this free exhibition. Hear the inside story from our friendly art expert, join an artist-led creative workshop or chat about wine making and intricacies of growing a good wine-making grape with one of our experienced local vignerons.

Stay a little longer with one of the many accommodation packages on offer, and enjoy the Valley Artists locally acclaimed ‘The Sculpture Garden‘ play.

Experience for yourself why so many people are talking about this glorious ferment of art and wine!
